As it's name suggests The Wash House was originally a communal laundry and courtyard for the nearby cottages.
Recently renovated in a contempoary style, with underfloor heating throughout, the open plan ground floor has a luxury fitted kitchen with dining table,
large leather sofa, DVD and TV. The master bedroom, with king sized leather bed and solid oak furniture,
is partially screened by oak beams.
Separate downstairs bathroom with bath and hand held shower.
On the first floor is a second bathroom with shower cubicle and a generous single bedroom with views across the loke.
Outside is a small seating area - an ideal spot for an evening drink!
Specification: Underfloor heating in the bathrooms and downstairs;
electric oven and hob; Nexpresso Coffee machine with complimentary coffee; dish washer; microwave; fridge/Freezer;
washer/dryer; TV, DVD, Video and Hi-Fi; telephone (local and incoming calls only);
hair dryer; equipped with fine white linens, towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
Regret no smoking, but well-behaved pet by prior arrangement.
The Wash House doesn't have its own parking, but there is free parking on the street and two nearby
Pay & Display car parks - the one on the Quay side is free to National Trust members.
The village hall, about half a mile away, also has a large free car park.
